Ethernet switches are used to pass data between any devices connected to it. Wieland's wienet and Weidmuller's BasicLine ranges of unmanaged ethernet switches have a fixed configuration, making them simple to use, and come with up to 8x ports, allowing a user to connect multiple devices via a 'plug and play' method.
