Fabrication, Welding, Bending & Forming

Our team of experts work with all types of fabrication and welding, including Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Copper and Aluminium. Our team are specialists in metal fabrication, catering for domestic, commercial and industrial customers throughout the UK.

We supply products and equipment to various major industries, from food manufacturing through to rail and agriculture. Our team can take on both large and small scale projects and provide a wide range of finishing processes using grinding and sanding techniques.

Being equipped with machines to bend materials such as aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel at various thicknesses allows us to produce high quality and high tolerance components completely in-house.

Design Team

Our design team have worked across a variety of projects and understand the complex requirements needed for innovative design solutions. We use SOLIDWORKS for the 3D design of parts and assemblies and for 2D drawing. All of our electrical designers use AutoCAD for the creation of schematics, providing an electrical design service and producing complex and comprehensive wiring diagrams.

SOLIDWORKS allows for data collaboration with varied import and export facilities. The direct, model to 2D drawing, ensures that potential errors are eliminated as there is no re-drawing. We also use SOLIDWORKS PDM for data management, allowing for faster creation of new assemblies by re-using controlled CAD data.

Don’t worry if you are not sure what is needed, we can work with you to produce your project specifications and then walk you through the design process. High quality rendering ensures you get full visibility of the product or assembly before any manufacturing takes place.

A typical manufacturing process from our team looks like this:

  • Punch the plates on our LVD Sienna ST1212 Punch press machine. Tools to be correctly assembled into the turret as specified by the manufacturing program. The tools punch out the different shapes until enclosure is created in its flat form.
  • Whilst in flat form, finish the edges using our Vanco Flexiband machine to remove any sharp edges.
  • Whilst in flat form, grain the parts on one side using our Ellesco Grindmaster 2000 to remove the burrs from the multiple holes punched out on the plate.
  • Whilst in flat form, populate the parts with M4 and M5 flush head studs. These are fitted using our Haeger Pneumatic press.
  • Fold into a box using our Safan SMK-L, 32-1600 TS1 Press Brake machine.
  • TIG Weld the corners up to create a sealed tray.
  • Grind the outside of the box to smooth off the welds ready for painting.
