Grey has been described as “the perfect neutral” because of its timelessness and ability to blend into modern life. This is a more saturated grey than your typical RAL7035, and enclosures in this shade of Nimbus Grey look sophisticated, sleek and urban. An exceptional fit for cityscapes, fast roads and modern infrastructure.
This is a glass-reinforced polyester enclosure that is corrosion resistant and perfect for outdoor use. It comes with sturdy metal hinges that can be easily replaced should the worst happen. Lockable barn-style doors give you access to the electrical and electronic components protected inside. And while you’re working on things, the roof juts out a little and slopes backwards from the doors, keeping more rain away from the inner workings.
Inside the cabinet, the doors are reinforced with thicker channels of GRP to provide increased strength. A 12mm plywood mounting plate comes as standard on all models. The base has a flange to make it easy to fix in place on a base of poured concrete, using four 10mm x 90mm rawl bolts with penny washers. The doors feature a double bit cam lock on one side and, on two-door models, spring-coated bolts on the other side to reduce the chance of issues with wind when you are working hard on the tech inside the cabinet.
Nimbus grey is a medium-dark grey that will stand the test of time. This new colour will make your roadside cabinets blend in with urban environments, looking sleek and modern, while delivering the same protection, strength and durability common to all our roadside cabinets.
